Mechanical tubes are essential components in various industrial applications, including hydraulic cylinder tubes (also known as ready-to-hone tubes), mechanical support tubes, and general engineering tubes. These tubes are widely used in industries such as hydraulic cylinder manufacturing, automotive parts manufacturing, shock absorber production, textile machinery, and defense sectors. Mechanical tubes are specifically valued for their high strength and precise inside and outside diameter tolerances, which are crucial in applications requiring strict accuracy. Surface finish quality also plays a pivotal role in meeting these application needs.
Mechanical Tube Manufacturing and Features
Mechanical tubes can be produced in straight random lengths or in specified fixed lengths. Our seamless tubes, crafted with precision, are manufactured through a cold-drawing process (drawn on mandrel), ensuring close dimensional tolerance with a smooth internal and external finish. To achieve desired mechanical properties, the tubes undergo heat treatments such as normalizing, stress relieving, annealing, and tempering according to specific customer requirements or material grades. Our production process is stringent to meet exacting industry standards, and we use tungsten carbide dies and mandrels to produce these tubes with high precision.
To achieve straightness as per industry codes, a multiple-roll straightening machine is employed, ensuring an accuracy level of up to 1mm per 1000mm straightness. Our quality checks are rigorous, and we prioritize protective packaging (including special 4-layer packing for exports) to ensure that the material reaches customers in prime condition.
Our mechanical tubes are designed with a finish and precision that enables them to go straight into the honing process for further customization.
Compliance with International Standards
We manufacture these mechanical tubes according to various international standards to ensure quality and reliability. Some of the standards include:
- EN 10305-1 E215
- EN 10305-1 E235
- EN 10305-1 E355
- DIN 2391 ST35
- DIN 2391 ST45
- DIN 2391 ST52
Final Delivery Conditions
The mechanical tubes are available in different final delivery conditions to meet diverse requirements:
